The Lowcountry Christian Home
Educators Association (LCHEA) is a non-profit, Christian support group
established for home-educating parents in the Berkeley, Charleston and
Dorchester Counties of South Carolina. Formed in 1988 by 20
homeschooling families, it has now grown to over 350 !
Our purpose is to provide
support, guidance and encouragement to one another as home educators
based on closely held Christian principles. These principles are
outlined in our Statement of Faith.
